Law Enforcement Reports Service Outages in Multiple States
After a widespread outage that affected emergency services across the country, 911 telephone call lines have been restored in parts of the United States.
Law enforcement agencies in at least four states reported 911 service interruptions on Wednesday, including California, Colorado, Texas, and Florida.
The cause of the nationwide outage is still under investigation, but it is believed to have been caused by a technical issue with a major telecommunications provider.
